Riding Out the Storm

How you ride out the storm is up to you.  We do recommend that you be sure to have plenty of non-electronic activities on hand for the kids and the adults; be sure you have your flashlights and batteries where you can reach them easily; and have a battery powered radio on hand.

Post Storm - Recovery

Once a storm has passed the work of recovery begins.  The first thing any of us do is assess our situation:
  • is the family ok
  • is the house ok
  • what services are working
  • how are things at our workplace
